Legacy small engines is great. My generator wasn't started enough (by me). The float seized up and the carb started leaking gas. I called Legacy and Wyatt came over and picked it up. A day or two later, it was fixed and delivered back into my garage. Legacy is honest, fast and reliable. The rate was explained in advance and quite reasonable. I will definitely refer them and use them again if needed.

My Briggs & Stratton push lawn mower lost its power and took it to Legacy Small engines. It took only 1 min for Wyatt to figure out the issue. He did not take my money, because he thought it is a trivial fix. He also gave me gas to start/test the engine. Wyatt is running a very fair business. (not trying to rip off as some other business we find these days)

Wyatt at Legacy small engine repairs is always my go-to guy for any issue i have with my snowblower, lawnmower, weedwhacker or other small engines. His service is always fast and the work is well done. His prices are very good considering the speed and quality of his work. I had an urgent need to repair my lawnmower that just died suddenly and despite any rudimentary tinkering I did, I could not get it to work. He told me that if I could bring it to him rather than make use of his pickup service, he would look at it immediately. He did, and figured out the problem in about 5 minutes flat and fixed it. He also stated that he would not charge me for the repair since it did not take him long to fix it. I paid him anyway as I feel that he is sometimes too nice and sells himself short for his level of expertise. I would highly recommend Legacy Small Engine Repair for any of your needs.

Had again a wonderful experience today. This is the second year I have had the battery operated lawn mower blade sharpened. Looking at all the big jobs Wyatt has to do, he and his staff always step forward, friendly, no waiting, and sharpens the lawn mower blade. I went over to Legacy Small Engines to get my weed trimmer repaired. They asked me what was wrong and I told them it wasn't revving as high as it should. The young guy Wyatt took it and identified the problem and fixed it within minutes, it was a spark receptor. Oh and he didn't charge me!! Great young man running an honest business. He actually repaired my generator and delivered it for less than original estimate. After speaking with Wyatt for a while, I could see that he had the right attitude and knowledge to run a professional business. I was quite impressed. I went to another business twice with another generator and they charged me more than the estimate and never repaired it right...unlike Legacy who did it the right way. I had no idea they existed but I'm happy that I found them.

Just had a great experience at Legacy Small Engines. Even though the guys were swamped fixing seasonal equipment like lawn tractors they took the time to look at my flat snow blower tire. Really great service. Came in with my power washer with a very small oil leak, expected to do a maintenance service. He started the power washer and inspected it. The leak was insignificant and was no longer an issue. He did not charge me for his inspection and was very helpful. This company is very honest and will not do any unnecessary work. If I have any further issues with my power washer, I will happily drive 30kms out to Stittsville to have my issue resolved by these professionals.

My snow blower was leaking fuel so I contacted them about a repair. My snow blower was picked up on Monday and repaired and returned by Friday (including an added servicing - which was recommended and definitely needed). Very professional, efficient and timely service - Wyatt even provided some maintenance tips to help ensure the avoidance of future issues. While he had my snow blower I thought that he should also check the drive belts as it is an older snow blower. He was back to me within a couple of hours and said that the belts were still in good condition. Wyatt was very honest, easy to talk to and very informative. Wyatt of Legacy was outstanding in his mechanical skills. However, to add to his knowledge, he assisted us by picking up and returning the mower. I have mobility issues with lifting weight. The engine was in very bad condition and best course of action was a new engine, etc. He placed the order and returned the machine back in less than 2 days. Our sincere thanks Wyatt. Wyatt did an excellent job tuning up our tractor, lawn mower and chain saw. He was very professional and showed up for pick up and delivery when he said he would. He provided very quick turnaround within a couple of days. His prices were very reasonable for the work provided and for pick up and delivery. He is also looking at fixing our old tractor, which is a bit more complex job and he had a preliminary look and has offered a couple of options. I would highly recommend Wyatt to anybody who needs small engine work.

Just before the first snowfall, I discovered my 8-year-old snowblower would not start. I had not been taking very good care of it and it needed a tuneup. Wyatt serviced it and got it going again! He is very responsive to inquiries and did a great job! I'll be using his services again in the future.

Great service! They were able to sharpen my lawnmower blade while I was there which was really handy.

My lawn tractor suddenly stopped working while I was cutting the lawn. I could not restart — I changed the spark plug and diagnosed as far as I could with no success. Thought my engine may have been blown. I called Legacy and Wyatt answered on the first ring and offered to pick up the tractor and check it out. Wyatt came to the house and did some troubleshooting and was able to quickly diagnose the issue as loose solenoid cable. What a relief! He would not take anything for the visit! I was able to eventually convince him to accept something for his amazing quick service. Wyatt also suggested some helpful maintenance tips. What a great experience! Five Plus Plus Rating

Submitted a service request online and received a call back within 10 minutes, at 8am. Was impressed someone called that quick. It was 2 days before an incoming snow storm so my hopes were low that I would be able to get my snowblower serviced. Wyatt picked up my machine that afternoon, and had it back in my driveway, up and running in 24 hours. I called about a problem with my snowblower, expecting to pay hundreds of dollars. When I described the problem, the fellow told me how I could probably fix it myself. I did, and it worked! This is a man of honour, and he has earned my business going forward.

Wyatt did a full tune-up on my riding lawn mower. He picked it up and delivered it a few days later, clean and running well. Honda mower Honda can't look at for at least 6 weeks? Called Legacy and said he could look in the next week or so. When I dropped it off 15 minutes later he took the time to try all the basics. Fuel, spark and a compression test. Looks like motor may be gone. Back to Honda as there is a 3 year warranty and I guess I have to buy a back up. Jason was fantastic interrupting his busy day (shop is full!). Going to use him for all my small engine needs in the future :-) Highly recommend!

I usually don't give Google reviews, but Legacy Small Engines is way beyond my expectations. My snow blower was broken right after the last big snow storm this winter (before Family Day), and due to the fact it's a stat holiday, I called some local repair shops and nobody answered my call except Wyatt. He sent someone to pick it up, got it repaired, and sent it back to me, all done in about a week, despite the fact there were 30+ snow blowers in his store waiting for repair. Today was the first time I tried to use it after I got it back from the store, I couldn't start it, I panicked, and I called Wyatt again. After the phone call, even though it was a Sunday afternoon, he arrived at my home with his truck, trying to figure out the problem. Turns out it was my own mistake causing the engine not to start. No blame from him, no harsh words, he was here educating and watching me start and use it without any problem before leaving. Overall, professional repair, very reasonable price, and second-to-none customer service, thank you very much Wyatt!!!

I discovered Wyatt at Legacy Small Engines from a referral from my neighbour. He came highly recommended. We first used him to do a spring service on our newer lawn mower that wouldn't start; he came and picked it up, took it away, and within 1 day he called with an assessment and a way forward for a service and a new part. We then referred him to our senior parents (in their 80's) with their lawn tractor. He went to their house in North Gower, picked up the tractor and serviced it many times, while providing patience and care to our senior parents. He has been trustworthy and knowledgeable and we feel very lucky to have him to help at the other end of the phone! We highly recommend his services!
